In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
Dear Friends
I pray that you are well.
We are sometimes too busy helping others at work, school or in the community that we forget our own families.
Allah Almighty says,
[Quran A-Tahrim 66:6]
O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded. (6)
Learn to say no to your friends or colleagues if it means missing dinner with your family and not praying Maghrib or 'Isha with your family.
Put your family first.
Narrated by Aisha: Allah`s Messenger, Allah bless him and grant him peace, said,
Among the believers who show most perfect faith are those who have the best disposition, and are kindest to their families.[At-Tirmidhi]
Narrated by Aisha and Abdullah ibn Abbas: Allah's Messenger, Allah bless him and grant hime peace, said,
The best of you is he who is best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family. When one of you dies speak no ill of him.[At-Tirmidhi]
May Allah make us among His best servants. Ameen.
Please don't forget us in your night prayers. Jazakallahu khairan.
And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
