Dear Friends
I pray that you are well
A few verses from Surah Ar-Room 30
....Allah fails not in His Promise, but most of men know not. They know only the outside appearance of the life of the world but of the Hereafter, they are heedless.
On the Day that the hour will be established, the guilty will be struck dumb and despair.
On that Day that the Hour will be established, that Day shall (all men) be sorted out. Then as for those who believed and did righteous good deeds, such shall be honored and made to enjoy luxurious life (forever) in a Garden of Delight (Paradise). And as for those who disbelieved and belied Our Signs, and the Meeting of the Hereafter, such shall be brought forth to the torment (in the Hell-fire).
So glorify Allah...
It is He who brings out the living from the dead, and brings out the dead from the living, and Who gives life to the earth after it is dead, and thus shall you be brought out (from the dead.)
May Allah makes us among the righteous and admits us into Paradise to the company of the righteous. Ameen. Please keep us in your night prayers. Jazakallahu khairan.
And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam

Dear Friends
I pray that your Ramadhan has been a big blessing for you and your families.
"Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi after every prescribed prayer, nothing prevents him from entering Paradise except death." (An-Nasa'i)
"Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the All-Sustaining. Slumber seizes Him not, neither sleep; to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. Who is there that shall intercede with Him save by His leave? He knows what lies before them and what is after them, and they encompass none of His knowledge save such as He wills. His Footstool comprises the heavens and earth; the preserving of them tires Him not; He is the All-High, the Tremendous." Qur'an AlBaqarah 2:255
This verse is meant for us to feel we are are nothing. So we will act like someone who is nothing, remove our pride and arrogance and submit to His Will. Your feelings or your sense of worth is meaningless. Look at where Iblis ended up because he wanted to follow his own sense against Allah's Will. If our will is aligned with the Will of Allah, we will find peace in ourselves.
May Allah guide us and grant us Tawfiq. Ameen. Please don't forget us in your prayers. Jazakallahu khairan.

He is closer than your jugular vein
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
Dear Friends
I pray that you are well.
When you feel down and as if the whole world is caving on you and no one to turn to, remember that you are not alone. There is someone with you. Your Loving Lord, the all Knowing, the all Aware, your Helper and Protecting Friend. Keep asking Him to help you, give you patience and strength to bear it. Try to resolve this in your heart that He sent this to you and that He did not send this to you to harm you but only to benefit you. We may not see the benefit, but what do we know--we are only a creation of His. He knows everything and He knows what is good for us. This is His choice for you at this time. Tomorrow it might be different. We simply submit to His choice and hoping for His love.
There is nothing more beloved to Him than our sincere expression of slavehood to Him. We continue in constant remembrance of Him, worshiping Him alone--but not because He promises us great rewards for our patience and good deeds, but for who He is. He is Allah and we are His slaves. What better love can we ask for other than the love of the Grand and Magnificent Lord. And He is here closer than our jugular vein--if truly we know, we would love Him and no other. When He is your beloved, whatever He gives you become beloved to you. May Allah allow us to reach this level of attachment to Him.
"Those who believe, their hearts being at rest in God's remembrance -- in God's remembrance are at rest the hearts." Qur'an Ar-Ra'd 13:28
May Allah give you peace. Ameen. Please don't forget us in your night prayers. JazakAllahu khairan.

Expression of inward love
BismillahirRahmanirRahim
Assalaamu alaykum
I pray that you are well.
We have heard and read this before many times "Say: 'If you love Allah, follow me, and Allah will love you, and forgive you your sins; Allah is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.' Qur'an AleImran 3:31
If someone truly love Allah, it will manifest itself in that person following the sunnah of the Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace. Following the Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace, will cause Allah to love us and forgive our sins. Following the Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace, was a simple matter for his companions because they knew and loved him. When he would tell them something they heard and they obeyed him. Disobeying him never even crossed their minds.
How do we follow the Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace? We must love Allah--why can't we not love Allah? If someone give you a nice car (just because...like my kids always say to me...no particular reason other than out of love), won't you love that person? Allah gives us more than a nice car--Just by the fact that we are still blinking, we owe Him much love and gratitude. Just because you cannot see Allah, you know He is there. He is the One who is sustaining you. We don't see Him because we are too busy to stop and think about who is the One behind all these that are with us and surround us--we are too visual--we must see with the eyes to appreciate and to love. We need to be less visual and ponder and reflect more often His creation--and the more we do this the more we "see" Allah, inshaAllah. And that will inevitably result in the hastening to obedience of Allah.
If we obey Allah and the Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace, out of love, then our worship is elevated from a mere ritualistic practice to something that is a deep expression of inward love. This should be what we all should strive to do. And love is sweet!
And Allah knows best.
May Allah grant us that sweetness of faith. Ameen.

Who is our wakeel?
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
I pray that you are well.
When we hire an attorney, we trust the attorney to make everything alright. We are relaxed because we think someone is going to take care of our matters. In Arabic world, when they say "I assign a wakeel," it means I assign an attorney.
Who is really our wakeel?
wa kafa billahi wakeel وكفى بالله وكيل (translated as "And Allah suffices for a wakeel") Qur'an Annisaa 4:81
When we say Hassbiyallahu wa nikmal wakeel حسبيا الله ونعم الكيل (translated as "Allah is sufficient for us, an excellent Wakeel is He)
did we feel it, did we mean it? If we mean it, we should be at that state of peace at least for that moment.

In comfort, in hardshp
Assalaamu alaykum
I pray that you continue to have a blessed and blissful Eid.
Know that Allah loves the believer. Anything He sent to you is good for you. Be it comfort or hardship, ease or difficulties, joy or grief, they are means for you to draw closer to Him. So, we do more good and increase our worship for Him.
"Know that the present life is but a sport and a diversion, an adornment and a cause for boasting among you, and a rivalry in wealth and children. It is as a rain whose vegetation pleases the unbelievers; then it withers, and thou seest it turning yellow, then it becomes broken orts. And in the world to come there is a terrible chastisement, and forgiveness from God and good pleasure; and the present life is but the joy of delusion. Race to forgiveness from your Lord, and a Garden the breadth whereof is as the breadth of heaven and earth, made ready for those who believe in God and His Messengers. That is the bounty of God; He gives it unto whomsoever He will; and God is of bounty abounding." Qur'an Al-hadid/The Iron 57:20-21
"Do the people reckon that they will be left to say 'We believe,' and will not be tried? We certainly tried those that were before them, and assuredly God knows those who speak truly, and assuredly He knows the liars. Or do they reckon, those who do evil deeds, that they will outstrip Us? Evil is their judgment! Whoso looks to encounter God, God's term is coming; He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. Whosoever struggles, struggles only to his own gain; surely God is All-sufficient nor needs any being. And those who believe, and do righteous deeds, We shall surely acquit them of their evil deeds, and shall recompense them the best of what they were doing." Qur'an Ankaboot/The Spider 29:2-7
May Allah bring us closer to Him. Ameen

Attaining the love of Allah
Assalaamu alaykum
I pray that you are well.
Alhamdulillah we see more and more people who are hungry for sacred knowledge. They want to learn the Qur'an, they want to learn Arabic, they want to learn the deen. But one thing most are missing is dedication--how far would they go to acquire this knowledge. Unfortunately, not very far. You can see this at many halaqas at the various masajid. It is always the same few people who come regularly. Yet when you go to the masajid, you see many people who are not doing their sujud or standing right during prayer, talking during the Jumah khutbah, walking in front of you while you are praying, not cover their nakedness properly for prayer, etc. etc. When you go to the wudu' area you see people not doing their wudu' properly, have nail polish on their nails, etc, etc. This knowledge which are connected to one's daily affairs and much more is obligatory upon Muslim to learn, not simply be a copy cat, and to learn it from people with knowledge. The ultimate goal in this life is for Allah to love us and we have to earn that love. Only through knowledge we can know what it is that we need to do to earn that love.
Perhaps this will be an incentive. Allah Most High said, "My servant draws nearer to Me with nothing more pleasing to Me than what I have made obligatory upon him, and then continues to draw nearer to Me with supererogatory devotions until I love him, and when I love him I become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks, so that by Me he hears, by Me he sees, by Me he strikes, and by Me he walks. Should he ask Me, I shall surely grant him his request, should he ask Me for protection I shall surely protect him. Never do I hesitate in anything as I hesitate in taking the soul of My believing servant; he dislikes death, and I dislike to displease him, but it is a thing inevitable."
May Allah guide us and give us tawfiq. Ameen.
