Saving Ourselves From The Great Terror To Come

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

The more you study the Qur'an, the more you know you don't know anything and the more anxious you become. This is a problem but a good problem nonetheless, because hopefully you will become more attached to the Qur'an and never abandon the Qur'an.

Once the Qur'an is abandoned--people don't recite them, don't place them in their hearts, don't follow the guidance in the Qur'an--the Day of Judgment will come. Whatever the signs of the Final Hour we know of (trial and fitnah of Dajjal, the rising of the sun from the west, etc), they will happen, and we cannot stop them from happening. But we do have control over what we do with the Qur'an.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الم ﴿١﴾ ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ ﴿٢﴾ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ ﴿٣﴾ وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَبِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ ﴿٤﴾ أُولَـٰئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ ﴿٥

Alif, Lam, Meem. (1) This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah - (2) Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them, (3) And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith]. (4) Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful. (5)

So learn the Qur'an, recite the Qur'an properly and contemplate upon the meanings, and adhere to the Qur'an and Sunnah. If we do this, inshaAllah, we will be among those who are saved from the terror of the Final Hour.

May Allah grant us a sound understanding of the Qur'an and make the Qur'an our close companion in this life and the next. Ameen.
