The world is like a bridge. Cross it but don't build on it.
Don't see the world as the whole purpose of existing. This world should not be your end. It is a means to pleasing Allah Most High.
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَىٰهَآ ﴿٤٤﴾
To your Lord is its finality. [Quran, An Nazi'at 79:44]
فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " ازْهَدْ فِي الدُّنْيَا يُحِبَّكَ اللَّهُ وَازْهَدْ فِيمَا فِي أَيْدِي النَّاسِ يُحِبُّوكَ "
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Be indifferent towards this world, and Allah will love you. Be indifferent to what is in people’s hands, and they will love you.” [Ibn Maajah]
May Allah grant us excellent ending and make our meeting with Him the best of meetings. Aameen.
