Ramadhan Victory -- Seeking Knowledge
Allah Most High asks us in Surah Zumar, ayat 9,
"Are those who know equal to those who do not know?". Of course that's a rhetorical question. There's no comparison between those who know and those who don't. Our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) tells us whomever Allah wishes well for, he grants deep understanding of religion.
Commit, if you seek victory, to gain beneficial knowledge, the knowledge that shows you with clarity what to believe about Allah, how to submit to Allah in worship and in life, how to seek the pleasure of Allah in your worship and devotion in your living, work, family and society, how to be a truly grateful servant of Allah, how to be a servant that is of true benefit to others.
“The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.” It is the scholars that are the inheritors of the Prophets.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said the scholar and the student are partners in all that is truly good. So let us be of those who seek beneficial knowledge to better our condition, to better our turning to Allah, to better serve the way of the Prophet (ﷺ), to be victorious in ourselves, in our social relationships, and to give victory to the Ummah through the preservation and transmission, and support for the way of light, that is the way of the beloved Messenger (ﷺ) who said. “I was only sent as a teacher.”
