Don't Choke Over Things

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

Allah is in control of everything. He does everything. Nothing moves or remain still without His Will. If we are certain of this and remember this, whatever happens, we won't choke over things that are happening.

Allah is all we have. Anything besides Allah is a veil from Him. Make Allah our one and only goal, direction and desire, and the veils will start coming down one by one. Life would be so much easier and peaceful.

Patience is like provision in this journey; patience to worship Allah and patience of dislike things. We can't reach Him without patience. Each and everything around us is a test of our patience. If it is not one thing, it is another; big or small. Even a tiny flea or a barking dog can be a huge test to some. Accept whatever comes and be content with it. Say, Alhamdulillah.

Keep our focus. We keep our whole being towards Allah, Mighty and Majestic. Everyone else (including works) is peripheral. Take the means (in accordance with the teachings of the Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace) to better and change the situation--this is doing our part as His slaves. The One who is in control will change it and make it better, if He so wills; it is all up Him.

Be patient and seek His help. فَصَبْرٌۭ جَمِيلٌۭ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُسْتَعَانُ Patience is most fitting; and it is Allah (Alone) Whose help can be sought ... (Surah Yusuf). Nothing is difficult through Allah, and nothing is easy through ourselves.

(It will be said to the pious — believers of Islamic Monothesim): "O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction! (27) "Come back to your Lord, Well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing (unto Him)! (28) "Enter you, then, among My (honored) slaves, (29) "And enter you My Paradise!" (30)

(Qur'an Al-Fajr 89:27-30)

May Allah make our journey easy. Ameen. Please don't forget us in your night prayers. JazakAllahu khairan.

And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
