Two Great Blessings

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

Allah blessed us first by creating us and He bless us again by continuously maintaining and sustaining us. These are the two great blessings that many people don't want to realize. And that's why many are heedless of Allah until Allah drops upon them calamity, and that's good for them because it is another chance for them to turn to Allah. If they realize this and be grateful and shape up, then it is good for them. If they don't, then they are the utter losers.

Fir'aun (Pharoah of Egypt) was so deluded with his life of splendor and riches until he thought of himself as god and when he realized that he wasn't god (before he was drowned in the sea), it was obviously too late. We don't want to be in that situation.

And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and enmity until, when drowning overtook him, he said, "I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims." (90) Now? And you had disobeyed [Him] before and were of the corrupters?
[Qur'an Yunus 10:90-91]

That is for what your hands have put forth [of evil] and because Allah is not ever unjust to His servants." (51) [Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah, so Allah seized them for their sins. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and severe in penalty. (52) That is because Allah would not change a favor which He had bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves. And indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. (53) [Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They denied the signs of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh. And all [of them] were wrongdoers. (54)
[Qur'an Al-Anfal 8:51-54]

[Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and those before them. They denied Our signs, so Allah seized them for their sins. And Allah is severe in penalty. (11)
[Qur'an AleIman 3:11]

May Allah keep us from disobedience and make us among His grateful servants. Ameen.

Please don't forget us in your night prayers. Jazakallahu khairan.

And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
