Performing the 5 times daily prayer is not difficult if you realize the majesty of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Make time to learn Allah's beautiful Names and Attributes. When you know Who you are talking to during prayer, you will be waiting to come back to it over and over again.
وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ فَٱدْعُوهُ بِهَا ۖ وَذَرُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِىٓ أَسْمَٰٓئِهِۦ ۚ سَيُجْزَوْنَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١٨٠﴾
And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them. And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names. They will be recompensed for what they have been doing. [Al A'raf 7:180]
وَٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلْخَٰشِعِينَ ﴿٤٥﴾
And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah] (45) [Quran, Al baqarah 2:45]
