Striving For Allah's Sake
وَٱلَّذِينَ جَٰهَدُوا۟ فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَمَعَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ﴿٦٩﴾
“And whoever strives their utmost for Our sake: Verily shall We unfailingly guide them the momentus paths to Us, And truly Allah is ever with those excel in good.” [Quran, Al Ankabut 29:69]
If we want Allah to guide us, start moving and keep moving. Build something no matter how small it is. As long as you are holding on the shahadah, you are not weak. Don’t die tomorrow and finding yourself not with the Prophet (ﷺ) because you didn’t strive your utmost for the sake of Allah.
“O you who believe, how can you, when told to go forth in the cause of Allah, sink ponderously down to earth? Can you have contented yourselves with the pathetic life of this world for the next? While the fleeting enjoyment of this paltry life in the face of the next is but pitiably little.” [Quran, At-Tawbah 9:38]
