بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
From my notes
Truthfulness of speech is a ladder to truthfulness in action and truthfulness in action is a ladder to truthfulness in intention and aim.
Truthfulness of deed demands performing it excellently, correctly and with sincerity for Allah's pleasure and countenance.
A person's truthfulness in speech is connected to his truthfulness in deed, and he rises in the various ranks until he becomes truthful in his actions and in his intention.
A person continues to be truthful or seek truthfulness until he is written with Allah as asSiddiq.
