In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
Dear Friends
I pray that you and your family are well.
Our preoccupation in this life should be none but Allah. If one forgot Allah, Allah causes him to forget himself. They are the transgressors and the evil-doers. They are the unfortunate ones who prepare for their own ruin and disaster.
Be not as those who forgot God, and so He caused them to forget their souls; those -- they are the ungodly.
[Qur'an Al-Hashr 59:19]
To forget the Lord is to forget the only Eternal Reality. How can we forget the very source of our being?
The Fire is the final disaster in the Hereafter, as contrasted with the minor disasters from which all evil suffers from within in this life.
Therefore remind, if the reminder profits, (9) and he who fears shall remember, (10) but the most wretched shall flout it, (11) even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, (12) then he shall neither die therein, nor live. (13) Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, (14) and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. (15)
[Qur'an Al-'Ala 87:9-15]
The first process in godliness is to cleanse ourselves in body, mind and soul. Then we shall be in a fit state to see and proclaim the Glory of God.
May Allah purify our hearts and make our hearts attached to Him and make our concern is drawing near to Him. Ameen.
Please don't forget us in your night prayers. Jazakallahu khairan.
And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
