It's All In Your Head

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

We choose how we view the world around us. The world is filled with thorns and flowers, and we each decide which to embrace. You can lament over the thorns or you can be excited for the flowers but if you are grateful for what is in front of you, that is the key to increase and success.

وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ ۖ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِى لَشَدِيدٌۭ

And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.' " (7)

[Qur'an Ibrahim 14:7]

It's all in your head...that is the way we see things is determined by how we act. But what we see as good may not necessarily good with Allah and what we see as bad may not necessarily bad with Allah. Allah determines what is good and what is bad, what is good for us and what is bad for us. Our job is to follow the guidance.

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ ﴿٧٣

And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude. (73)

[Qur'an An-Naml 27:73]

May Allah make us His grateful servants and increase us in all good. Ameen.
