In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
Dear Friends
I pray that you are well.
Everybody wants happiness. But you can't find happiness without faith. You certainly can't buy happiness.
Happiness is a sweetness that Allah places in people's heart that has nothing to do with worldly gains and power. How many wealthy people with houses that dazzle the eyes, but they can't sleep at night thinking about how to amass more wealth and afraid to lose their wealth? How many powerful people, despite strong body guards around them and a whole army backing are not at peace, worrying about losing their power?
But those who have firm faith, who put their trust in Allah, who are grateful to God for everything, despite calamities afflicting them, despite injustice inflicting them, despite horror facing them or about to face them, despite evil plots against them, find happiness in life and bring happiness to others around them.
So don't have to look at things or other people for your happiness. Look to the One. Ask Him for that sweetness and be patient.
[Qur'an Al-Baqara 2:186]
And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided. (186)
The Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and grant him peace, said the best of faith is to bring happiness to heart of another.
May Allah bring happiness and tranquility to the hearts of the Muslims. Ameen.
Please don't forget us in your night prayers. Jazakallahu khairan.
And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
