Know The People of Paradise -- Whoever Prays 12 Units Every Day and Night

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate

Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

Umm Habeeba (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wassallam said, "Whoever prays 12 units during the day and night (every day and night), Allah will build him a palace in Paradise.” [Muslim]

The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wassallam said in another Hadith about these 12 units: 2 before Fajr, 4 before Dhuhr, 2 after Dhuhr, 2 after Maghrib and 2 after Isha (12 rakahs in all).

This is it, get this in your system and, inshaa Allah, you will get your palace in Jannah.

Do you know who Umm Habeeba is? If you do, that's great, Mashaa Allah.

If you survey Muslim students in high school or secondary school and asked about the names of the wives of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wassallam, or his children's names or the names of the 10 companions who were promised Paradise, you probably get a blank or some strange names. It is sad. It is a shame. Imagine if Allah admits us to Paradise and we do not know anybody there. If we ask “Who is this?” “This is Abu Bakr”. “Oh! Who is he?” “He is a Companion of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wassallam.” “Mashaa Allah, nice to meet you” “Who is this?” “This is Uthman; he married 2 of the Prophet’s (sallallahu alayhi wassallam) daughters, Ruqayah and Umi Kalthum.” Imagine we would not be able to recognize these people of Jannah. If you ask to peek at the people of Hell, you might be like, “Ohhh, I know everybody here!” Is it not a shame that we have this ignorance about our history, our heritage? If we claim to love the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wassallam or if we get really sentimental and say that we are ready to do this and that for him, that we are ready to fight for the sake of Allah with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wassallam, then we should at least curious to know about his person, his seerah, his wives, his sons, his daughters, his Companions. Take the time to learn more about the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wassallam and his companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) and you will fall in love with them.

May Allah increase our love for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wassallam, his family and righteous companions and join us in the highest Paradise with them. Ameen.

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala aalihi wa sahbihi wassallam.

And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
