In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
Dear Friends
I pray that you are well.
Allah equates the Truth with solat (prayer). Everybody need to get this point. When we think of Muslims today, many don't pray. And that is a sad reality. Losing a solat is like losing a family member. How is it like when you lose a family member? That's how you should feel when you miss a solat.
[Qur'an, Al-Qiyamah 75:26]
Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking. (25) No! When the soul has reached the collar bones (26) And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?" (27) And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation (28) And the leg is wound about the leg, (29) To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession. (30) And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed. (31) But [instead], he denied and turned away. (32) And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride]. (33) Woe to you, and woe! (34) Then woe to you, and woe! (35) Does man think that he will be left neglected? (36)
When we cannot stand anymore, that is when our Qiyamah (Day of standing or Judgment Day) begins.
When ‘Uthman ibn 'Affan stood at a grave he would weep until his beard was wet. So it was said to him: "Indeed you make mention of Paradise and Hellfire and you do not weep, and you are weeping at this?". He replied, "Indeed the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Verily the grave is the first abode of the Hereafter, if one is saved from it then what follows is made easier for him. And if one is not saved from it, then what follows is more severe". He also said, "I have never seen a sight more horrid than the grave"" (Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah)
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “You will surely stand before Allah, no screen between Him and you, no interpreter to translate for you. Then He will say, ‘Did I not bring you wealth?’ He will say, ‘Yes.’ Then He will say, ‘Did I not send you a Messenger?’ He will say, ‘Yes.’ Then he will look to his right and left and see nothing but Hell. So protect yourselves from it even with half a date (in charity), and if not then with a kind word.” [Bukhari]
May Allah increase us in Iman and grant us excellent ending and not make us die except as Muslims. Ameen.
Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala aalihi wa sahbihi wassallam.
And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
