Your Reality

Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

Human beings are inherently needy. We are in absolute need of Allah. Our existence is only because Allah created us -- and we remain in existence from moment to moment because He sustains us. Everything we have is from Allah. Our existence, reality, and life is dependent and needy. This is our reality.

Realize your poverty and neediness to your Creator and Sustainer -- the One free of all need, the One who created you, and is sustaining you at every moment:

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ أَنتُمُ ٱلْفُقَرَ‌آءُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ ﴿١٥﴾ إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ ﴿١٦

O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. (15) If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation. (16)

[Qur’an, Al-Fatir 35:15-16]

This is realization of Divine Oneness, and who Allah truly is: “the One free of need of any other, whom all are completely dependent upon, at every moment, in every way.”

May Allah make us His obedient and grateful servants. Ameen.
