Allah has not abandoned you....
Our life is so fraught with trials and tribulations that when things are bad I just think of these powerful words.
"Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity."
[Quran, Al baqarah 2:286]
I am grateful because, yes, I have suffered and suffer pain, loss and hardship than you could possibly imagine, but my life is also filled with miraculous stories of Allah saving me. That is because Allah says in His majestic Book, the Quran,
“So for every hardship, there is ease. For every hardship, there is ease”
[Quran, al-Inshirah 94:5-6]
It is one of the only sentences in the entire Quran repeated twice in a row. Because Allah wants that point to really hit home for you. When this verse was revealed, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ came out literally laughing out loud in glee proclaiming glad tidings to his Companions saying,
“A hardship can never overshadow its relief which is twice as great! A hardship can never overshadow its relief which is twice as great.”
Be strong, have faith, be true.
