Assalaamu alaykum
I pray that you are well.
We see people struggling and fighting everyday for position in this world and things of this world, forgetting the most important is what will happen in the Day of Judgment. What counts is our condition and position in Day of Judgment--our Day of Judgment begins when our souls leave our bodies. So, make our struggles only for His pleasure.
Narrated Umm Salama, Allah be pleased with her: One night Allah's Messenger, Allah bless him and grant him peace, got up and said, "Subhan Allah! How many afflictions have been descended tonight and how many treasures have been disclosed! Go and wake the sleeping lady occupants of these dwellings (his wives) up (for prayers). A well−dressed (soul) in this world may be naked in the Hereafter." (Bukhari)
Narrated Aisha, Allah be pleased with her: Allah's Messenger, Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The people will be gathered barefooted,naked, and uncircumcised." I said, "O Allah's Messenger! Will the men and the women look at each other?" He said, "The situation will be too hard for them to pay attention to that." (Bukhari)
Narrated Ibn `Abbas, Allah be pleased with him: The Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "You will be gathered (on the Day of Judgment), bare−footed, naked and not circumcised." He then recited:−−'On the day when We shall roll up heaven as a scroll is rolled for the writings; as We originated the first creation, so We shall bring it back again -- a promise binding on Us; so We shall do.' (Al-Anbiya 21.104). He added, "The first to be dressed on the Day of Resurrection, will be Abraham, and some of my companions will be taken towards the left side (i.e. to the (Hell) Fire), and I will say: 'My companions! My companions!' It will be said: 'They renegade from Islam after you left them.' Then I will say as the Pious slave of Allah (i.e. Jesus) said. 'I only said to them what You did command me: "Serve God, my Lord and your Lord." And I was a witness over them, while I remained among them; but when You did take me to Yourself, You were the watcher over them; You are witness of everything. If You chastise them, they are Your servants; if You forgive them, You are the All-mighty, the All-wise.' (Al-Ma'ida 5:117-118) (related by Bukhari)
"God said, 'This is the day the truthful shall be profited by their truthfulness. For them await gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein dwelling forever and ever; God being well-pleased with them and they well-pleased with Him; that is the mighty triumph. To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is in them, and He is powerful over everything. (Qur'an Al-Ma'ida 5:119-120)
May Allah make the best of our days the day we meet Him and grant us a good entrance in the Day of Judgment. Ameen. Please don't forget me in your night prayers. Jazakallahu khairan.
