In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
I pray that you are well.
There is always people who disagree with you or discourage you to do what you believe is religiously and morally right, but you need to stand on your own and not be discouraged by it and keep doing it even if you are the last person who believe in it. This will make you a strong Muslim and increase you in your ranks with Allah. Allah expect us to be strong determined people. We don't go by what people say, we go by what Allah says.
Our example is Prophet Ibrahim, alayhissalaam. He was one man against the whole world.
"Surely, Abraham was a nation obedient unto God, a man of pure faith and no idolater, showing thankfulness for His blessings; He chose him, and He guided him to a straight path. And We gave him in this world good, and in the world to come he shall be among the righteous." Qur'an Ibrahim 16:120-122
May Allah grant us a sound understanding of the religion and give us the strength to practice what we know. Ameen. Please keep us in your prayers. Jazakallahu khairan.
Wassalaam
