Thanking Allah

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

Stop and mentally jot down the most important thing or person in your life of this world. What is it? Whatever that is, it is there because Allah created it for you and He give it to you. Are you not grateful?

Unfortunately, Allah tells us that,

وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِىَ ٱلشَّكُورُ ﴿١٣ ...

...And few of My servants are grateful. (13)

[Qur’an 34:13]

Allah says,

وَءَاتَىٰكُم مِّن كُلِّ مَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُ ۚ وَإِن تَعُدُّوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّـهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَآ ۗ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَظَلُومٌ كَفَّارٌ ﴿٣٤

And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful. (34)

[Qur’an Ibrahim 14:34]

وَإِن تَعُدُّوا۟ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّـهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَآ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿١٨﴾

Then is He who creates like one who does not create? So will you not be reminded? (17) And if you should count the favors of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (18)

Qur'an An-Nahl 16:18]

Take a moment to reflect on Allah's blessings, acknowledge that they are from Allah, thank Allah for them with complete awe of the Giver in our hearts. And Allah is our sufficiency.

May Allah forgive us for all our shortcomings and make us among His grateful servants. Ameen.
