بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
The Quran is a guide to humanity. It should be our daily priority not only to read or recite the Quran, but also to understand and implement it in our lives.
How does the Quran guide us?
Allah asks us to ponder the simple yet powerful argument to believe in the Message of the Quran. He asks us to ponder on the signs in the universe, in us and around us. He presents us the track records of the good and the bad people in history; how they behaved and what was their end in this world. He describes their future too--the good people in heaven and the bad people in hell.
Most of the ayahs in the Quran appeal to our thinking. They build up and strengthen our faith and that is what we are missing these days. That strengthening of the faith is one of the most important part of guidance (hidayah).
Let's have a daily routine of reading and reciting a portion of the Quran (one juz or more) and complete reading the entire Quran bi-monthly or monthly, while understanding the meanings of what we read.
May Allah guide us on the Straight Path. Aameen.
Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala aalihi wa sahbihi wasallam.
And Allah knows best and is Most Wise, and He alone grants success, and to Him is the final return of all.
Wassalaam
