In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Allahumma, Antas-Salaam wa minkas-salaam, tabarakta ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram.
O Allah! You are Peace and from You comes peace. Blessed be You, O Owner of Majesty and Honor.
As-Salaam is the One who is free from all deficiencies, the source of peace, wholeness and well being.
He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. [Quran, Al Hashr 59:23]
Tiredness is the impefection that we all suffer. Allah created the heavens and the earth in six days and never get tired.
Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds. [Quran, Al A'raf 7:54]
Paradise is a place that has no deficiency -- Darussalaam. On the Day of Judgment, salaam is the greeting of the people of Paradise.
And those who believed and did righteous deeds will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein by permission of their Lord; and their greeting therein will be, "Peace!" [Quran, Ibrahim 14:23]
One of the ways we interact with the Name is to recognize that Allah is As-Salaam. There is no imperfection in whatever He gives and witholds. If Allah witholds something from you, it is it not out of lack of resources or stinginess or anything like that. Everything comes from Allah's perfect ability. At no time, what you have or don't have is due to Allah's imperfections. There is no lapse of judgment and there is no mistake.
Many seek peace by struggling, battling and trying to impose their will on others, yet external peace will only prevail as a reflection of inner peace. The only path to outer peace is awareness of the tranquil depths of inner peace, and the only source of such inner peace is the One known as As-Salaam.
Call upon As-Salaam for your well being and inner peace.
Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala aalihi wa sahbihi wasallam.
And Allah knows best and is Most Wise, and He alone grants success, and to Him is the final return of all.
Wassalaam
