Key To Success

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

Qur'an is the key to success but very few people understand this. Qur'an gives us purpose, strength and guidance to lead our lives on this earth according to what our Creator wants. What the Creator wants us to do is for our own benefit. Those who are upon the guidance from the Lord are the successful ones.

Allah says,

الٓمٓ ﴿١﴾ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ ﴿٢﴾ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ ﴿٣﴾ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَبِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ ﴿٤﴾ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ ﴿٥

Alif, Lam, Meem. (1) This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah - (2) Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them, (3) And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith]. (4) Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful. (5)

[Qur'an 2:1-5]

If we don't know Qur'an, we will be making many mistakes. Those who pray, fast, perform hajj, etc, are still making lots of mistakes because they don't have a complete understanding of the Qur'an. When we look at the Qur'an, are we following it? No, we don't follow it. We only follow some and we leave many. As believers, we have to follow the Qur'an in its complete form of guidance, not pieces here and there, and what is convenient only.

But how do we follow Qur'an if we don't know Arabic, the language of the Qur'an. If we don't know Arabic, we will never come close to Qur'an and Qur'an will never touch your heart. Arabic is the key to the Qur'an.

Once the Qur'an touches your heart, you will never feel alone, you will never feel lonely and you will never feel bored, inshaAllah.

No doubt, nothing will change without effort. If we desire this change, we have to learn Arabic and Qur'an properly.

May Allah guide us and give us tawfiq. Ameen. Please don't forget us in your night prayers. Jazakallahu khairan.
