Al-Mutakabbir (The Supreme)

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

Allah is Al-Mutakkabir (the Supreme), Whose Greatness is beyond perception.

He is Allah beside Whom is La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) the King, the Holy, the One Free from all defects, the Giver of security, the Watcher over His creatures, the All-Mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme. Glory be to Allah! (High is He) above all that they associate as partners with Him.
 [Qur'an Al-Hashr 59:23]

According to Ibn Manzhur, Al-Mutakkabir is the One, Who is too Magnificent and Glorious to deal unjustly with any of His servants: that's because He has attained the utmost of justice, and the ultimate and the highest degree of fairness, which none could ever reach.

When this characteristic is attributed to Allah Almighty, it is praiseworthy; and when it is attributed to man, it becomes blameworthy. It is a cause of deficiency and imperfection in relation to man for he comes to be arrogant and haughty.

Narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace, told that Allah Almighty says:
Supremacy acts as My Upper Garment, and magnificence acts as My Lower Garment: for this reason whoever disputes Me over any of both, I then will break him, and then throw him into the Fire.
O Allah, Most Magnificent, Most High, Most Supreme: we ask You to make us remain in need of You, and independent from anyone besides You, until we see none but You. Be kind to us as to what You know is fitting for Your devotees, and dress us with the garments of Your Protection in every breadths and moments, and make us Your sincere servants in all of our states, and grant us knowledge from Your Presence, and make us become straight in our life and death.

Ameen.

Please don't forget us in your night prayers. Jazakallahu khairan.

And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
