Everything is Good

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

Remember the Lord, the Creator of everything there is. He is Al Qadir (All Powerful).

And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent. (17)
[Qur'an Al-Ma'idah 5:17]

He gives sovereignty (kingdom) to whom He wills and He takes sovereignty (kingdom) away from whom He wills, and He honors whom He wills and He humiliates whom He wills.

A person or a people may regard something as evil and unwelcome, and it may be so for that person or people, but as a poet put it very succinctly, the calamities of one group are the gains of another. As to the person or the people afflicted with calamities, there is wisdom for the affliction. Allah is Al Hakim, the Perfectly Wise. It is He who has wisdom in all order and actions.

And indeed, [O Muhammad], you receive the Qur'an from one Wise and Knowing. (6)
[Qur'an An-Naml 27:6]

We might not be able to see the wisdom as to why what we perceive as bad, happens, but everything is good--and nothing is really evil or bad--for in Allah's Hand is the good.

Say (O Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wassallam): "O Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honor whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things. (26)
[Qur'an AleImaran 3:26]

May Allah Almighty forgive all our sins and all our shortcomings, and protect us from the trial and tribulations of this life and the next, and raise our ranks among those who are guided and the righteous. Ameen.

Please include us in your night prayers. May Allah reward you.

And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
