بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
Dear Friends
I pray that you are well.
Mu'adh b. Jabal (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) caught his hand and said:
By Allah, I love you, Mu'adh. I give some instruction to you. Never leave to recite this supplication after every (prescribed) prayer:
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Allahumma a'ni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 'ibadatika
(O Allah, help me in remembering You, in giving You thanks, and worshiping You well.)
Mu'adh willed this supplication to the narrator al-Sunabihi and al-Sunabihi to 'Abu Abd al-Rahman.
[Abu Dawood]
May Allah grant your du'a. Ameen.
And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
