In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
Dear Friends
I pray that you are well.
Ayatul Kursi (Verse of the Throne), Ayah 255 in Surah Al-Baqarah of the Qur'an, is the greatest Ayah in the Qur’an.
Ayatul Kursi is so great that the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, “Whoever maintains reciting Ayatul Kursi at the end of (after) each of his obligatory prayer, nothing prevents him from entering Jannah except death.” Meaning that if you die now and you had recited Ayatul Kursi after your last Fard prayer, you would go to Paradise, inshaa Allah. Yet, many Muslims do not memorize it by heart. This indicates our negligence towards our Deen. We know a lot of things by heart: the top 40 songs, top 10 movies, football players and soccer players, etc, but when it comes to Islam and Qur'an, something seems to be keeping us away from it. This thing that is keeping us away from Islam and Qur'an, is keeping us away from Paradise.
[Qur'an, Al-Baqarah 2:255]
Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa, Al-Haiyul-Qaiyum La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm, lahu ma fis-samawati wa ma fil-'ard Man dhal-ladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi-idhnihi Ya'lamu ma baina aidihim wa ma khalfahum, wa la yuhituna bi shai'im-min 'ilmihi illa bima sha'a Wasi'a kursiyuhus-samawati wal ard, wa la ya'uduhu hifdhuhuma Wa Huwal 'Aliyul-Adheem
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. (255)
Ubayy bin Ka'b (radiAllahu anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Abu Mundhir! Do you know which Ayah in Allah's Book is the greatest? I said: 'Allah and His messenger know best.' He (Allah bless him and grant him peace) again said: 'Do you know which Ayah in Allah's Book, according to you, is the greatest?' I (Abu Mundhir) replied: ‘It is 'Allah la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum'[Qur'an, Al-Baqarah 2:255]. Thereupon he (Allah bless him and grant him peace) patted me in the chest and said, 'Rejoice by your knowledge, O Abu Mundhir! (i.e, may this knowledge be a source of respect, honor and benefit to you)'."

If you haven't memorized this Ayah, do start memorize it now and don't postpone it any longer.
May Allah give us tawfiq and enable us to maintain reciting Ayatul Kursi after each of our obligatory prayer until we die. Ameen.
Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala aalihi wa sahbihi wassallam.
And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
