In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
Nothing in the Qur'an is haphazardly put. Everything is meant to be there. When Allah tells us the story of Musa and al-Khidr (peace be upon them) in Surah al-Kahf and mentions a young companion with Musa, one of the things we can learn from this is the importance of having companions in knowledge when we are seeking knowledge.
[Qur'an, Al-Kahf 18:62]
So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his young companion, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." (62)
Realize the importance of seeking companions who are walking on the same path as you. And help each other out.
May Allah make us avid seekers of knowledge and grant us good companionship. Ameen.
Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala aalihi wa sahbihi wasallam.
And Allah knows best and is Most Wise, and He alone grants success, and to Him is the final return of all.
Wassalaam
