We are reminded that Allah is the One who is in charge of deciding who gets what and He knows who to give to. Allah Most High says,
Do they distribute the mercy of your Lord? It is We who have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of this world and have raised some of them above others in degrees [of rank] that they may make use of one another for service. But the mercy of your Lord is better than whatever they accumulate.
[Quran, Az-Zukhruf 43:32]
This verse is one of the most profound verses when it comes to different levels of society, different careers, and how society functions together. Allah has allocated their rizq and wealth and every person among us we have somthing we can give and something we need from others. Even the wealthiest person still needs to hire people and use their talents. Those people that are hired need the wealth of the wealthy person. Those people and the wealthy person need the farmer for the food they eat, and so on. Every single group of people, every single profession, it needs other professions as well. Each one will take others for employment. Allah created the diversity that we have from the Wisdom of Allah.
Indeed, some of us may have more than others but all this is irrelevant because this world means nothing but it is the mercy of Allah that is infinitely better than all that we can possibly have in this world. So watever your socio-economic rank might be in this world, it is irrelevant for the actual rank with Allah because it doesn't matter of where you are in this world, the Rahmah of Allah and how to get there has nothing to do with what you have. In fact, the more you have it is potentially more difficult to earn Paradise because you have more distractions of this world.
May Allah guide us on the straight path and make us steadfast. Aameen.
