In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
Dear Friends
I pray that you are well.
The most mighty people you will see are godly people. They say this about Imam Malik, may Allah has mercy on him. He was the one who if you sit in front of him you will feel extremely scared because of extreme awe that people of God inspire to people around them. Some people have beauty which might be stronger and you will see people attracted to them more than they are scared. You don't want to be caught on their bad side because there is a might that they are cloaked in and the might is the might of God who they are serving.
The Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace, is the ideal of beauty and majesty. He has the great manifestation of God Almighty. When he was by himself, because of the majestic awe that his presence inspire, if you were there with him and he was alone, you would feel he is standing amid of an army. When you see a king, you feel the awe because you find the king is surrounded by soldiers and courtiers who are serving him at his behest. So you feel awe of this person. But the Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace, you feel the awe even when he was by himself, with no army, no courtiers. Ali ibn Abi Talib, Allah be pleased with him, said when you see the Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace, from afar you feel awe of him and when you know him you love him
There are scholars who are if the king was to see them, the king will be humble before them. The true believers have a share of these beauty and majesty. The true believers are lowly when they are with the believers, but they are mighty when they are with the non-believers. When it comes to defending Allah and His Messenger, Allah bless him and grant him peace, they are mighty. When it comes to caring, they are lowly. You cannot draw the might from Allah if you don't obey Allah and His Messenger, Allah bless him and grant him peace.
Allah cannot be reached by hand. There is no way to reach Him and there is no escape from His commands. We have no share from Him except His gentleness and kindness. If it wasn't His kindness saying that if you do this particular action I will be pleased with you and if I am pleased with you I let you enter Paradise, no one will enter Paradise. We don't enter Paradise because we are doing Him a favor or because we are doing all these great deeds to please Him. When we attempt to please Him, it is really He is allowing us to please Him. If we realize this we humble ourselves in submission to Him and we don't rely on anything except Allah alone.
May Allah be pleased with us. Ameen. Please don't forget us in your night prayers. JazakAllahu khairan.
And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
