بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
Dear Friends
I pray that you are well.
There is no blessing greater than safety.
When suddenly there is no order--you hear shootings everywhere, and criminals who escaped from prisons are getting into your neighborhood and breaking into homes, this is when you realize the blessing of safety you used to enjoy.
Who now can protect you?
When you have absolutely no one to protect you, this is when you really connect with Allah, Al-Hafiz, Al-Qawiyy, Al-Qadir, Al-Wali. There is a joy of turning to Allah which you didn't have prior to this. There is a particular purity in turning to Allah which you didn't have prior to this. With that purity comes the confidence. Allah creates the confidence in the heart--don't worry, I will take care of you.
So we are grateful for everything that come to us--good or bad, safety or chaos, everything--because they are means of drawing closer to Allah.
May Allah protect us from the trials and tribulations of this life and the next. Ameen. Please don't forget us in your night prayers. JazakAllahu khairan.
And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
