Not a Hajji

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam. It is a requirement that any Muslim who has the means to carry out the Hajj should perform it, at lease once in a lifetime.

Every year, especially around the day of Arafah and when the Hajjis start coming home, many of us start having the intention to do Hajj (whether going for the first time or repeat hajj) and the year quickly passes by and we find ourselves wishing others 'hajj mabrur' and welcoming the Hajjis back. If you really want to go to hajj next year, the preparation should begin now -- physically and spiritually.

While preparing to go to hajj next year, you can start earning the reward like that of a hajj and umrah 365 days a year.

The Prophet said: Whoever prays Fajr in congregation, then sits remembering Allah until the sun has risen, then he prays two rak’ah, then for him is the reward like that of a Hajj and Umrah.” He said: ‘Complete, Complete, Complete. [At-Tirmidhi]

You should gather your family and friends and meet at the masjid and revive this sunnah.

May Allah grant us tawfiq. Ameen.

Please don't forget us in your night prayers. Jazakallahu khairan.

And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam.
