In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
Dear Friends
I pray that you are well.
Allah makes the night and the day to conflict with each other for two kinds of people: 1) People who want to make an effort to remember Allah, i.e. the night time is for night prayer, the morning time is for morning prayer, the daytime for daytime prayer (afternoon and evening prayer). The battle of the night and day is convenient for the one who wants to make an effort to remember Allah. Their prayers revolve around that conflict around the night and the day. Also, for 2) people who want to thank Allah for the blessings. Every time a whole day comes to completion or the slave made it through the night, he thanks Allah for another day that he got to breathe on this earth, another day to serve Allah, another day to ask for forgiveness.
The one who believes in Allah, realize that Allah is great and he is not, in contrast to the one who is arrogant. Realizing the greatness of Allah leads to one's humility. When we say "Allahu Akbar" it is a declaration of 2 things: Allah is great and my lack thereof.
[Qur'an, Al-Furqan 25:62]
And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude. (62)
Be thankful to the One who gives you life for being alive now, and remember Him night and day.
May Allah make us of those who are thankful and humble. Ameen.
Please don't forget us in your night prayers. Jazakallahu khairan.
And Allah knows best.
Wassalaam
