Where Does A Believer Find True Happiness
Happiness comes at multiple levels. Initially, happiness comes from appreciating Allah's gifts—material blessings such as health, wealth, relationships, and life's good moments, acknowledging that 'Whatever blessings you have are from Allah.' [Quran, An-Nahl 16:53]
A deeper level of happiness emerges from recognizing these gifts as direct acts of giving from Allah, which shifts the focus from the gifts to the Giver and deepens the believer's gratitude.
The highest happiness transcends these and is found in the presence of the Giver Himself, in a profound, deeply personal relationship with Allah that is unique to each believer.
This ultimate happiness is not just about the gifts or the act of giving but about being close to Allah, recognizing that Allah is greater than His gifts to us. It reflects a profound spiritual maturity, a journey that each believer undertakes, where every circumstance, whether ease or hardship, is embraced as a divine decree, fostering a resilient, contented heart.
