We should recite the Quran everyday and put it into practice. If we do this, the Quran will be defending us in the Day of Judgement.
"Recite the Quran for it will come in the Day of Rising as an intercessor for its people." [Ibn Hibban]
"The Quran will intercede and its intecession will be accepted and it is a witness whose testimony will be heard. Whoever puts it in front of him will be led by it to Paradise. Whoever puts it behind him will be driven by it to hell." [Ibn Hibban]
Narrated Abu Hurayra regarding Allah, Most High, saying: "And recite the Qur'an in the early dawn. Verily the recitation of the Qur'an in the early dawn is ever witnessed (17:78)." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "It is witnessed by the angels of the night and the angels of the day." [Tirmidhi]
Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr
that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Recite the Qur'an in forty (days)." [Tirmidhi]
May Allah make us of the people of the Quran and make the Quran a witness for us, not against us. Aameen.
