Remember Allah

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

Why are we having so many problems in our lives?

It is because our hearts are filled with everything else except Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala. We need to empty this vessel from the gunk of this world and fill it with remembrance of Allah.

Allah Almighty invites us so many times to call Him in remembrance:

So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.
[Qur'an al-Baqarah 2:152]

Remembrance of Allah forbids one to commit what is shameful, and vile deeds and words. Allah Almighty says,

Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do.
[Qur'an al-Ankabut 29:45]

What better way to remember Him than reciting His Speech?

Allah Almighty says,

Surely those who recite the Book of God and perform the prayer, and expend of that We have provided them, secretly and in public, look for a commerce that comes not to naught, (29) that He may pay them in full their wages and enrich them of His bounty; surely He is All-forgiving, All-thankful. (30)
[Qur'an Fatir 35:29-30]

Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward. (9)
[Qur'an Al-Isra 17:9]

"Whomever the Qur'an and My remembrance preoccupy him from beseeching Me, I give him the best of what the beseechers are given. The superiority of the Word of God, Sublime and Most High, over all others is like the superiority of God Most High over His creation." (Tirmidhi)

"Someone without Qur'an in the heart is like a ruined house." (Tirmidhi)

InshaAllah this will motivate you to read the Qur'an often and start memorizing some Qur'an. Even if it means reading a few verses and memorizing only one verse a day, it is big step in the right direction.

So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.[Qur'an al-Baqarah 2:152]
