If You Know Akhirah (Hereafter) is Coming

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate

Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

Someone who knows that Akhirah (Hereafter) is coming, they are worried about it. They make the religion and worship sincere for Allah. Their daily decisions are determined by Allah. What apps they have on the phone is determined by Allah. They don't waste time with matters that don't concern them, i.e. something that won't benefit them in the Akhirah. They have a sense of urgency to please Allah.

People who don't know about the Akhirah, are they going to be the same?

Allah Almighty says,

Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding. (9)
[Qur'an, Az-Zumar 39:10]

Indeed, the Akhirah is better for you if you have been working for it instead of chasing after the world.

But you prefer the worldly life, (16) While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. (17)
[Qur'an, Al-A'la 87:16-17]

Our souls are precious, and can only be equal to the price of Paradise. Therefore, sell them only at that price.

Paradise isn’t for a week or 100 years, it’s for eternity and comes with unlimited pleasure. Strive now.

Other faces that day will be happy (8) pleased on account of the effort they had put in earlier (in the dunya)(9) In an elevated garden, (10)
[Qur'an, Al-Ghashiyah 88:8-10]

If you’re still breathing, it’s not too late. The doors of repentance are still open and it is not too late to make it to Jannah. Change your priorities. Begin now – review how to correctly pray and establish your daily prayers, make a daily habit of reading the Qur’an and then acting upon it, learn Sunnah actions and lessons from the life of the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace). Work righteous actions, and take small consistent steps to improve – you will be pleased the moment you step into the next world.

Don't forget your appointment with the Angel of Death and your meeting with Allah, the beginning of your Akhirah.

May Allah grant is steadfastness and make us of those who devoutly obedient to Him and grant us the highest Paradise. Ameen.

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala aalihi wa sahbihi wassallam.

And Allah knows best and He alone grant success.

Wassalaam
