Why Hell Talk in the Qur'an?

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate

Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

Why does Allah, Exalted is He, talk about Hell a lot in the Qur'an? For example:

Allah Almighty says:

...Indeed Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers in Hell all together.
[Qur'an An-Nisa 4:140]

Allah Almighty says,

Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait (21) For the transgressors, a place of return, (22) In which they will remain for ages [unending]. (23) They will not taste therein [any] coolness or drink (24) Except scalding water and [foul] purulence - (25) An appropriate recompense. (26) Indeed, they were not expecting an account (27) And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial. (28) But all things We have enumerated in writing. (29) "So taste [the penalty], and never will We increase you except in torment." (30)
[Qur'an, An-Naba’ 78:21-30].

When Allah tells us about Hell, it is for us to come back to Him again and again and again...until we meet Him. He creates within us the thing that make us come back, that is fear. Those who fear going to Hell, they will come back to Him, and then He accepts them.

Allah facilitates our coming back. He might send to His servants outwardly unpleasant things but the fruits can be very pleasant.

If somebody is off the mark and Allah loves this person, He might give him a few problems. If he realizes his mistakes, he comes back to Allah.

We should turn to Allah and ask for His forgiveness often.

Du'as for forgiveness

From the Qur'an

Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die with the righteous. [Qur'an, AleImran 3:193]

Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers. [Qur'an, Al-A'raf 7:23]

Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful. [Qur'an, Al-Hashr 59:10]

Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people. [Qur'an 3:147]

May Allah forgive all our sins and make us of those who oft-repentant. Ameen

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala aalihi wa sahbihi wasallam.

And Allah knows best and He alone grant success.

Wassalaam
