In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum
Dear Friends
I pray that you are well.
The Messenger, sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, said, “If a woman observes her five daily prayers, fasts during the month of Ramadhan, guards her chastity and obeys her husband, she may enter Paradise through any of the gates she wishes.” [Ibn Hibban ~ Hadith Sahih]
This is a great bounty of Allah to women who are able to perform the acts mentioned in the hadith--observes her five daily prayers; fasts the month of Ramadhan; guards her chastity from all types of adultery; and obeys her husband in everything other than disobedience to Allah Most High.
On the Day of Judgment the people of Paradise will enter Paradise through the gates which they are deserving of, so the ones who fast would enter through the gate of fasting and the ones who died as martyrs would enter through the gate of martyrdom and the Muslim woman who observes these actions is given the choice to enter through any gate which she pleases.
It is important for those who are looking to get married to choose a righteous man with good character so obeying him would be easy. For those who have a difficult spouse, patience is most fitting and seek help from Allah. It is definitely going to work in your favor if you are patient for verily Allah is with those who are patient.
Type in the word "patience", "marriage" and/or "spouse" on the search box and you will find many postings on these topics in this blog's archive. Do read them, or read them again at your leisure.
May Allah give you tawfiq. Ameen. Pleased don't forget us in your night prayers.
