Tickets To Paradise--Ticket #21 (Building a Masjid)

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Compassionate
Assalaamu alaykum

Dear Friends

I pray that you are well.

The Messenger, Allah bless him and grant him peace, said,
Whoever builds a Masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise. (Bukhari)

This is a great bounty from Allah, Most Generous. The reward of someone who build a House of Allah, is Paradise, with the condition that one sincerely doing this to seek the pleasure of Allah alone and nearness to Allah, not for some worldly benefits such as for power, praise and reputation.

Even if you can't build a whole masjid, there is a great virtue in contributing to the upkeep and maintenance of existing masjid. The masajid are the most honorable places on this earth and it should be kept this way. So, when you see or pass by the donation box of your local masjid, don't just look at it or worse, avoid it, but drop a few dollars (or more) in the box. It will not diminish your wealth in any way, shape or form. But it will go a long way for you in this life and the next especially when you do this in this blessed month when the reward is multiplied manifolds, by Allah's mercy and generosity.

The likeness of those who expend their wealth in the way of God is as the likeness of a grain of corn that sprouts seven ears, in every ear a hundred grains. So God multiplies unto whom He will; God is All-embracing, All-knowing.(261) Those who expend their wealth in the way of God then follow not up what they have expended with reproach and injury, their wage is with their Lord, and no fear shall be on them, neither shall they sorrow. (262)

Qur'an Al-Baqarah 2:261-262
May Allah give you success in this life and the Hereafter. Ameen. Please don't forget us in your night prayers. Jazakallahu khairan.

And Allah knows best
Wassalaam
