Ikhlas (Sincerity) Makes You Strong

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Ikhlas (Sincerity) Makes You Strong

Ikhlas makes you strong, but the absence of ikhlas makes you sad and weak. You were born alone, and you will die alone. You will be in your grave alone, and you will stand before Allah alone.

It doesn’t matter whether you are a mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, son, or spouse. It is, therefore, your job in this life to make everyone around you happy. You should be the center of their happiness. You should be the beacon of their light, the most forgiving, inspiring, patient, enduring, and encouraging.

Even if others don’t do this, you still must do this. Why? Because you will meet Allah one day and have to answer to Him. Then, you can truthfully and sincerely tell Him, “I did my best, O Allah,” He sees, hears, and knows what you did sincerely for Him and will make you happy.

“But the sincere servants of Allah—for them is a sustenance determined.”
[Quran, As-Saffat 37:40-41)

“Indeed, Allah does not wrong the people at all, but it is the people who are wronging themselves.”
[Quran, Yunus 10:44]

“O God! Make my inside better than my outside, and make my outside (also) righteous.” [Tirmidhi] Aameen.
